“An Ode to Fandoms” continues with the K-Pop group ATEEZ and their fandom, ATINY.
Fun fact: the name ATINY is a blend of ATEEZ and Destiny. A reminder that fandoms often feel like fate finding you.

ATEEZ’s visual identity has evolved significantly since their debut. Starting with a pirate concept, their style has grown into a darker, more tailored aesthetic often compared to a Peaky Blinders-esque era. This shoot reflects that journey: a pirate-inspired essence combined with sharp tailoring and the comic-like, high-energy visuals seen in the “Bouncy” music video.

While ATEEZ doesn’t have official fandom colors, their visual language consistently leans toward black and red, which became the foundation of this styling concept. Heavy materials like velvet and faux fur are contrasted with delicate lace, highlighting an important duality: although ATEEZ is often perceived as intense and powerful, there is always lightness, playfulness and emotion beneath the surface

As with the previous shoot, all pieces are pre-owned or thrifted. A conscious choice — and a reminder that representing your faves doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. Sometimes it’s simply about reimagining what you already own.

And just to round things up: photography, styling, hair & make-up, editing by your favourite one-woman-show.
